As a Solarity Accountant, you will effectively process and maintain expense, income, asset, and liability transactions to support the accomplishment of organizational strategic goals and initiatives. Anticipate credit union accounting needs and effectively execute them through appropriate course of actions while maintaining accounting and compliance regulations. The top candidate will...
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting OR 6+ years of Accounting experience
- 3+ years of related progressive experience (Financial Institution preferred)
- Have GAAP knowledge
- Have knowledge of governmental regulations and reporting requirements
A Day in the life of an Accountant.... Each day will be a different adventure in this role. A snapshot of the day could look like:
- Participate in department huddle to align priorities
- Research and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Create procedures to accomplish accounting objectives
- Implement general ledger accounts to support operational changes
- Assist other departments with efficient data extraction and reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management
