A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Accountant for a great opportunity with their team in the McLean, VA area. Responsibilities: The Accountant will:
- Prepare bank reconciliations for global multi-currency bank accounts
- Post revenue and expense accruals
- Prepare daily Assets Under Management report
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare analysis and complete other monthly general ledger closing procedures within the 3-day close time period
- Utilize general ledger accounting and reporting software to prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, including assets under management
- Run fixed asset depreciation
- Provide assistance with internal or external audit requirements
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Public Accounting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Familiarity with Accounting software
- Solid analytical skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Financial industry experience
- Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions
