Compile and post accruals and other journal entries with accuracy. Conduct cash reconciliations and other recurring reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and sub-ledgers by maintaining proper documentation. Assist in the monthly close process, including generating affiliate and departmental financial statements, and reviewing for accuracy and completeness. Produce detailed financial and management reports for decision-making. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Maintain and update procedure documentation for accounting processes. Support payroll management, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring proper processing and reconciliation. Reconcile credit card accounts and ensure accurate documentation. Collaborate with the Controller on special projects as needed. Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring the protection of company and customer financial information.Qualifications: 2+ years of related accounting experience preferred, ideally in the automotive or retail industry. Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and independently draw logical conclusions. Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
