: Job Details :

Staff Accountant/Tax Analyst

* Sales/use tax returns

* Accrued use tax entry and reconciliation (preclose)

* Monitor tracker for sales tax errors to be corrected

* Monitor Vertex and make updates/changes as needed, become SME for Vertex

* Verify sales tax certificates are correct in Vertex

* Enter new leases into Tagetik

* Lease to PRD recon in Tagetik

* Post lease entry for U.S. and monitor international locations lease entry (lease entry)

* Lead contact for annual tax package working with RBC Corp Tax

* Filing of property tax returns

* Payroll entries (pre close)

* Accrued health insurance recon and associated I/C entries from RBC

* Accrued real/personal property tax entry and reconciliation

* Submits payments for property taxes and performs true up of accrual

* Business license renewal

* Initiate lease and CAM payments

* Backup AP on urgent issues

* GRIR

Job Requirements

* BS/BA in accounting or finance from an accredited university

* 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry

* SOX/Internal controls experience preferred

* Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Excel

* SAP experience a plus

* Strong interpersonal skills that can confidently interact with all positions within the company

* Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
