In this role, you will provide senior-level accounting skills to support the financial management of healthcare. The work environment is an energetic fast-paced/fast-growing dynamic setting. Essential Responsibilities Accounts Receivable duties: Prepare, post, verify, and record payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Record cash receipts and bank transactions. Posts revenues by verifying the grant code. Generation and reconciliation of Grants and Patients Receivable reports in MIP. Maintain and updates Funder Files, including name or address change, mergers or mailing attention. Research discrepancies and past due amounts. Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on General Ledger. Assist with internal and external audits. Assist with grant audits and external grant reports. Revenue Cycle Coordinator, back-up support. Responsible for accounting and reconciliation of GL Accounts including fixed assets, bank reconciliations, prepaid accounts, deferred revenue, accounting research, and other accounting activities. To support patient and client objectives, you may be required to work at other BACH locations within a 50-mile radius. Assist in the month-end close process: Completing the General Ledger reconciliations and journal entries. Financial schedule preparations. Fixed Asset accounting, inventories. Bank reconciliations. Review of balance sheet accounts. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business with two (2) years related experience OR AA Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field with five (5) years related experience. Experience with computerized accounting software, MS Office (especially Excel), banking transactions, payroll systems, and fund accounting systems. Community Health or Non-profit experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively. Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail. Physical Demands Sitting, walking, and standing are associated with a normal office environment. May include but not limited to lifting, carrying, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, and bending. Manual dexterity used to include, but not limited to, standard office equipment, and computer keyboard. Traveling to work sites includes some exposure to outside elements. Reading and writing to review records for accuracy. Frequently required to operate a computer and file and retrieve written documents.
