Gifford is seeking an Accountant to join our Accounting Department. The role involves utilizing a strong understanding of GAAP to accurately produce financial statements and create journal entries using accounting systems. It also requires completing reconciliations and ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls through the development and maintenance of relevant systems. The position involves generating statements for analysis and assisting staff in understanding and applying these tools. Additionally, the role provides support to the Accounting Team in tasks such as data entry, reporting, and filing as needed.
