Job Summary Statement: Compiles, analyzes and reports data related to inventory that provide management with accurate, well-documented records necessary for control of the Company's operations. Responsibilities for this position include weekly reporting and special projects. These assignments generally involve solutions to procedural problems in various departments of the Company in order to ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions and to support cost reduction efforts. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Completion and distribution of inventory reports monitor weekly trends and provide monthly close reports. Perform monthly inventory account reconciliations and investigate unusual reconciling items. Oversee activities designed to analyze the accuracy of inventory reports develop documentation / understanding of Oracle processes. Analyze and explain work order variances to ensure transactional accuracy and cost control. Prepare Excess and Obsolete (E&O) Inventory Reserve Adjustment utilizing company guidelines and follow up with various stakeholders to support disposition of E&O inventory Monitor inventory held at third party warehouses and reconcile third party data to the general ledger. Participate in review of NCM (Non Conforming Material) inventory for risk / impairment. Provide assistance in the annual development of Variable Standard material cost, labor rates, and overhead rates. This requires reviewing budgeted data for overhead and labor rates and anticipated raw material costs to arrive at new figures. Review the Company's annual physical inventory controls and procedures and reconcile results of the count to the general ledger. Support audit requests as needed. Provide inventory / receiving review support for unvouchered payables liability. Continuous verbal contact with all members of Purchasing, Operations and Finance. These contacts are necessary to obtain product costing information, resolve discrepancies and provide completion of setup information in order to input the proper data necessary for accuracy on cost of goods and production materials. Must work under moderate supervision and set priorities within established guidelines and time-frame parameters. Performs periodic review of tool crib inventory and prepares necessary adjustments. Other Duties as Assigned. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: Five (5) years in manufacturing accounting, cost analysis experience in a standard costing environment. Strong fundamental understanding of GAAP required. ERP System experience (Oracle EBS preferred) English language skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Math skills: Accuracy and precision Essential Physical Demands of the job: Primarily General Office Environment; semi-regular activity required on production floor. Other: Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, with advanced Excel skills. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: NA Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Oracle Analytics, Power BI, Power Query, etc.) Corporate-wide Conformance Expectations: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
