Job DescriptionAccountant gpac is partnered with a small, well-established firm in the Wealth Management industry who is seeking an Accountant to add to their team. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking to advance their career with a reputable and successful firm. Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting analysis and reporting for transactions in accordance with GAAP
- Perform monthly and quarterly GAAP/ SAP reporting for investments
- Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures
- Review, analyze, and resolve complex issues with accounting transactions
- Perform general ledger accounting functions
- Understand investment related policies
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Bookkeeping, payroll, taxes experience
- Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
