As one of the Accountants, you will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial data for a variety of small businesses. The main duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing company accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. No CPA is required for this role however a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is. The company recently moved into a beautiful new office. Requirements: 3-5+ years' of experience as an Accountant (public sector highly preferred). Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Thorough understanding of financial statements, payroll, and sales tax. Results driven with emphasis on quality and service that consistently meets or exceeds client expectations. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities and excellent attention to detail. Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles and theory. Thorough knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products and QuickBooks Online.** (Required - will be tested on skills) Must have strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a high intensity, multi-task environment, establish priorities for self and others, meet vital and tight deadlines, and relate positively to employees, vendors, and clients Must be process driven and understand complex operating policies, procedures, and make routine recommendations for improvement.
