Hudson River Trading LLC seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant, FP&A to: Analyze and prepare cash reconciliations and complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and other reports for financial planning and resource allocations, budgeting, and auditing (25%). Use sophisticated spreadsheet techniques and complicated finance and accounting principles to analyze monthly prepaids, accruals and other cost related items (25%). Gather and analyze financial and operational data to develop initiatives for improving the efficiency of the company's financial and accounting operations, budgeting, and expense management (30%). Perform ad-hoc reporting and execute accounting and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) projects that require comprehensive accounting data analysis and resource management (10%). Perform month-end closing procedures, including financial statement preparation, cash and position reconciliations, entering income and expense accruals, preparing capital allocation schedules and performing reporting and accounting responsibilities associated with regulated and non-regulated entities (10%).Qualifications Position requires Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field, plus eighteen (18) months of experience in the position offered or as Assurance, Audit Senior or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience auditing financial statements and key controls to ensure accuracy in reporting. Experience using DataSnipper and VBA to automate financial audit procedures. Experience monitoring and driving financial auditing practices, company transformation and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system implementation. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills. Minimum Salary: 95000 Maximum Salary: 115000 Salary Unit: Yearly
