Looking for an entry level accountant to join our team in Washington, DC and support the Accounting Manager. We would prefer 1-3 years of previous experience and a degree in Accounting or Finance. It will be essential to have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, attention to detail and good understanding of excel and the basic functions.

salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

+ Posting journal entries

+ Updating financial reports

+ Maintaining the accounts payable

+ Maintaining the accounts receivable

+ Help preparing finacial statements

+ Reconciling accounts

+ Providing supporting documentation for audits
