Job Title: AccountantJob DescriptionHandle a variety of accounting assignments including the preparation, analysis, review, verification, and reconciliation of various records, financial reports, and statements. Perform basic accounting tasks in general or specialized functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, General Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, and Payroll Accounting.
Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations as related to assigned responsibility area.
- Prepare tax reports and personal property tax returns.
- Physically audit fixed assets.
- Prepare additions and disposals and applicable reports.
- Prepare data for insurance reporting.
- Prepare depreciation forecast for rates and budgets.
- Manage capital requests and monitor project spending.
- Develop a thorough understanding of accounting modules within applicable ERP systems.
- Develop and maintain adequate procedures and work instructions for assigned activities.
- Maintain files and records according to records retention policies.
- Maintain required levels of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Knowledge of computers and various software programs.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience managing fixed assets.
- Proficiency in data entry.

- Experience in payroll accounting.
Work EnvironmentThe position follows a 9/80 work schedule. The role involves working with various technologies and equipment, and requires adherence to a business casual dress code.
