The ideal candidate will have expertise in full-cycle payroll, union reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute full-cycle payroll, including processing, reporting, and compliance. Handle union reporting and ensure adherence to union requirements. Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring accurate and timely processing. Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end and year-end closings. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations and reporting. Qualifications: Proven experience as an accountant, with a focus on payroll, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations. Familiarity with union payroll and reporting requirements is a must. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Pay $33 - $38 per hr.
