Spherion is seeking a Senior Accountant for a temp to hire position. The Senior Accountant will perform all aspects of facultative accounting. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly facultative premium settlements Log and apply cash on a monthly basis Assist with reconciling and clearing aged open balances Review general ledger balances and reconciliations when necessary Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Experience in the same or similar role is preferred. Education: Bachelors Experience: 4-7 years Qualifications: 3 to 5 years' experience working in Accounting/Finance with emphasis in the insurance Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and analysis Self-starter; capable of working both independently and within a team environment Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and be able to multitask in an ever-changing environment Detailed knowledge of accounting principles and practices, the insurance/reinsurance markets, and the analysis and reporting of financial data Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Apply today!
