Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Process regular payroll and certified payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Job Cost Analysis: Review project data, including material costs, labor and other expenses to determine project profitability.
- Team Communication: Work with Project Management team to report profitability information, identifying issues that may need attention.
- Process Management: Help improve processes and procedures for data collection.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records for all accounting transactions.
- Invoicing: Prepare, review, and distribute invoices accurately and on time.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate and analyze ad hoc financial reports in Excel as needed
- Accounting Duties: Perform various accounting tasks in Quickbooks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
- System and Platform Utilization: Learn and efficiently use new systems and platforms to streamline accounting processes.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to support overall operations and achieve common goals.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic Database Skills: Familiarity with basic database management is a plus.
- Construction Experience: Prior experience in the construction accounting industry is highly desirable.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or experience in the field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
