Jefferson Wells is partnering with our Energy Industry client in Houston to find a Staff Level Accounting Analyst to assist with the Reconciliation of InventoryLocation: Houston TX (Hybrid: 3 days on-site; 2 days virtual)Duration: 6 months, with possibility of converting to permanent employmentPay Rate: $25 – 30/hourJOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring operational and financial systems reconcile at a detailed level for inventory positions

• Work with the inventory team, cross functional teams, and IT to identify process and system improvements, factoring in the strategic plan of the Division and new business development

• Bachelors degree in accounting/finance
• Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
• Energy Industry experience would be nice to have, but not required
