Stonecrest Partners is a rapidly growing financial services firm based in Austin, Texas and San Juan, Puerto Rico. We have additional associates in New York City, New Jersey, Florida and Latin America. Our multiple business lines include Institutional Fixed-Income Sales and Trading, Retail Advisory and Brokerage services, Wealth Management and Financial Planning, tax credit trading, and private investment banking. We are an entrepreneurial company with expertise in complex financial transactions. Stonecrest Partners is the marketing name for Stonecrest Capital Markets, Stonecrest Advisors, Stonecrest Partners of Puerto Rico, Stonecrest Investment Management and affiliates.

To excel at Stonecrest, you must be able to work effectively in a small team environment, be self-motivated, have strong communications skills, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be willing to work on a variety of tasks and projects. Integral to success is a willingness to contribute as a team player and wear multiple hats, on tasks both large and small.

In a small dynamic team like ours, you will have the opportunity to experience multiple aspects of the financial advisory, brokerage and institutional trading business. You will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and will have opportunities for growth as business expands.

In this role at Stonecrest, you will:

  • Assist with the accounting books and records for five related entities of Stonecrest Partners
  • Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of commission/compensation reports
  • Take primary role in managing AP, expense reimbursements, and intercompany AR
  • Assist in integrating Stonecrest Partners company onto Sage Intacct ERP platform
  • Perform ad hoc projects and assist Operations team with other tasks, as necessary

Prerequisites for the role

  • BS degree in Accounting, or Business Administration with Accounting concentration
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting role is preferable
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office environment
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Pro Desktop and enterprise-scale accounting systems preferred
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Self-initiative and ability to multi-task
  • Ability and willingness to work well in a small, tightly knit team with a growth mindset

Other Considerations

  • This is a full-time position
  • This opportunity is primarily an in-person role in the downtown Austin office, but a hybrid/remote work arrangement may be possible after orientation
