We are seeking a motivated Accounting and Operations Manager to join our growing team. You will be instrumental in managing and improving all aspects of accounting and operations. It is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong opportunity for growth.
Accounting
· Prepare monthly GAAP compliant financial statements
· Manage all aspects of accounting
· Identify additional funding sources such as tax credits and grants
· Provide outside CPA with data for federal and state tax filing
· Assist CEO with budget preparation, investor communications and legal documents
· Complete Corporate reporting requirements
Operations
· Manage, review and continually improve operations
· Automate various processes such as on-line purchases, account renewals and invoice generation
· Ensure all vendor relationships are optimized in terms of delivery, pricing and payment terms
· Manage Inventory and shipping
· General office administration including updating policies and procedures, HR and agreements
Experience
· BA/BBA in Accounting
· 5 years of experience with general ledger, accounts payable/ receivable, payroll, cost accounting and management reporting
· Attention to detail
· Strong analytical skills
· Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, tax software, payroll etc…
· Experience managing relationships with suppliers
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
