Overview: The Accounting Assistant / Admin will report to the Controller and be responsible for clerical and administrative support and will assist in coordinating all aspects of daily operations, including recording and reporting data. Other activities include gathering, evaluating, and uploading financial information into the company financial system. The employee will participate and/or create financial/business metrics, key performance metrics, financial results and variance reporting and other supporting financial reports and/or studies as requested. This position requires a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has extreme attention to detail, is self-motivated and works well as a part of our team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Transact, review, reconcile, and resolve issues related to account payables/receivables. • Compile and sort documents, such as invoices, checks, standard company bills, etc. • Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases. • Audits invoices against purchase orders, research discrepancies, and approves for payment. • Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operations and/or accounting issues. • Assists with data collection and reporting required for key performance indicator reports. • Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed. • Communicates with customers about service issues as needed. • Communicates with employees about work assignments as needed. • Phone Returns & Customer Service • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to 1-year administrative related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills including all Microsoft Office software and the capability to learn and utilize new software. • Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Teams • SharePoint • One Drive Knowledge of the below software systems would be preferred but can be trained. • Paylocity • Salesforce Field FX E-Ticketing Interested candidates please send resume with references.
