The HT Group is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a client in the Golden Triangle area. This role is well-suited for individuals seeking an entry-level position and eager to advance their accounting career. This position offers the potential for contract-to-hire or direct hire, with salary dependent on experience. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
- Perform extensive data entry for financial transactions and reports
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Support internal/external audits
- Review invoices and reconcile discrepancies
- Validate expense reports
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
