Accounting AssistantFull Time | $45,000 - $55,000We believe that great people build great communities.We are looking for an Accounting Assistant who can help support our finance team in facilitating our vision of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all.What is needed for this job
- Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, finance related experience, preferably with a nonprofit agency
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent PC skills including Excel and Accounting software programs
The responsibilities we will trust you with:
- Assist with financial data reporting, budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Reconciles bank accounts and monitors bank transactions daily
- Writes up deposit and delivers to the bank: confirms branches are closing out daily
- Inputs data into Razor's Edge
- Completes Food Program report
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
- Sort and distribute mail
- Downloads and transitions reports from one software to another
- Assists with Forecasting and budgeting as needed
- Assists with Housing Authority responsibilities
- Cross-training for other positions as requested
