This is a hybrid role.Why join us?Great benefits!Job DetailsJob DetailsResponsibilitiesAs an Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include:1. Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.2. Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.3. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.4. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.5. Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.6. Developing, implementing, modifying, and documenting recordkeeping and accounting systems.7. Utilizing accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.8. Collaborating with the financial team and other departments to ensure overall financial, operational, and strategic goals are achieved.QualificationsTo be considered for the Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a plus2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.3. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.4. Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.6. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.7. Experience with ledger operations.8. Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.9. Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.11. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.12.
