Through our independent yet coordinated service lines, IRG RA advises our clients on Property and asset Management, Transaction Management, Development Services, Project Management, Consulting, and Facility Management.We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic associates who are committed to professional development and focused on achieving unparalleled results for our clients and partners.The Accounting Associate position will primarily work with the Treasury and Fixed Asset teams, but will be heavily involved with the various departments within the accounting group and will be utilized in many department-wide functions and projects.Essential Duties:
- Daily depositing of checks and reporting to internal clients.
- Assists with gathering monthly mortgage statements and escrow analysis for Property Accountants
- Assist in the CIP reconciliations with Fixed Assets and Property Accounting.
- Input Fixed Asset additions and job cost projects to MRI software system.
- Tracking of ownership capital contributions
- General accounting functions for larger campus assets
- Works with Senior Management on annual and quarterly tasks
- There is also the possibility of a small property portfolio to help learn the overall process in the Property Accounting Department
- This position handles numerous ad hoc requests and requires the ability to multitask and meet various deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Detail-oriented
- Analytical
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of variance analysis when comparing actual to budget
- Strong Microsoft computer skills
- MRI experience is a plus but not required.
