Location: Guaynabo,PR, USA
Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Perform monthly reconciliations for operating accounts
* Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
* Maintain various schedules for balance sheet accounts: prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, fixed assets, etc.
* Post month end journal entries and expense accruals
* Participate in a monthly peer review of preliminary income statements
* Produce timely and accurate financial packages and reports for multiple entities
* Maintain Cash Projection tool for portfolio and compare transactions to projections
* Distribute financial packages to related parties and respond to analysis questions
* Assist with external audits
* Other ad hoc accounting projects or tasks
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
* 2-5 years of experience in general accounting or Portfolio Accounting
* Prior preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements
* Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all members of the organization
* Self-motivated, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
* High level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate
