WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL? As an entry-level Accounting Clerk - Bookkeeping Office Assistant, you play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our business. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask help ensure the accuracy and consistency of our financial records. On a daily basis, you review invoices and receipts received from vendors to ensure that they match the corresponding purchase orders. You then meticulously enter this information into our accounting software, assigning the appropriate accounts and job codes to keep our records in order. You're also responsible for monitoring our accounts receivable, ensuring timely customer payments, and following up on overdue accounts to arrange payment plans when necessary. In addition, you manage our payroll, reconcile bank statements, and prepare reports for our management team.
