Job Description:

Adecco is assisting a local client in filling an Accounting Clerk position in Hopkinsville, KY. You will obtain, review, and evaluate financial reimbursement information for medical services. If you meet the qualifications below, please Apply Now!

Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Pay Rate $18 an hr.

Responsibilities:

+ Processes invoices received for payment for two facilities. Creates various payment documents in eMARS procurement tracking system. Processes financial transactions, disbursements, and fund transfer requests.

+ Establish ability and authority of responsible party for payment of patient services rendered including precertification for patients with insurance.

+ Reconciles activity received to activity invoiced by the vendors prior to payment. Assures correct coding of documents and makes corrections in accounting records and calculates adjustments. Assures all documentation is present to make payments. Enters documents for payment within 10 days of receipt.

+ Maintain, review, and evaluate patient accounts including posting charges, submitting insurance claims, posting accounts receivable into Siemens Medical Solutions System.

+ Attends all mandatory meetings and trainings. Completes all on-line trainings required.

+ Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School graduate

2-years in accounting, bookkeeping, or fiscal clerical experience required

Knowledge of relevant accounting software

Proficiency in eMARS & MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) required.

Capable of handling problem resolution in a calm and clear manner.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer and client relationships and networks.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
