LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting with a search for an accounting clerk in the west suburbs. The accounting clerk will support the accounting manager with daily transactional accounting. This is a temporary to hire opportunity and onsite. The role will have vendor and customer contact and requires excellent customer service skills as well as accounting knowledge.
- Enter new customers and vendors into the system and update current accounts
- Enter in customer payments and follow up on payments
- Assist customers with account questions
- Enter vendor invoices to be processed for payment
- Ensure payments match up with items received
- Update vendor statements
- Review and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with special projects
Requirements:
- 1 year or more of experience in accounting
- Intermediate Excel experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Multitasking and deadline driven
Pay range: $22-$26/hour
Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
