Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, based in Federal Way, Washington. The role will require you to manage and process customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and resolve customer inquiries. The workplace will be a hybrid model, with a mix of remote and on-site work.Responsibilities:- Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records- Assist in leading and supporting Accounts Payable (AP) projects- Participate in or conduct meetings with teammates; may participate in interviews, counseling's, Performance Development Reviews (PDRs), etc. at the discretion of the supervisor- Backup in-office tasks such as printing checks, mailing credit cards, and scanning invoices- Pull and complete reports from various systems and databases, including Oracle, Coupa, and MS Suite- Assist in troubleshooting and other duties as needed- Demonstrate proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Account Reconciliation, Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and initiatives- Create and maintain process documentation and conduct trainings- Provide support to the team in adherence to policy, procedures, and initiatives. Requirements - A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required.- Proven work experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role in the healthcare industry.- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP is necessary.- Ability to perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.- Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.- Familiarity with general ledger procedures and the month-end/year-end close process.- Strong data entry skills and an eye for detail and accuracy.- Experience in invoice processing and billing procedures.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory standards in the healthcare industry.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
