DescriptionThe Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing support to the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with the preparation of reports. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and an understanding of basic accounting principles to ensure efficient and accurate processing of financial information.Key Responsibilities:+ Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and disbursements.+ Review and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely approval for payments.+ Reconcile bank statements and assist with monthly bank and account reconciliations.+ Prepare and submit payroll data for processing as required.+ Manage and maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.+ Assist in maintaining accurate records of customer and vendor accounts.+ Generate and distribute regular financial reports to the accounting team or management.+ Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.+ Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing activities.+ Assist with audits by providing documentation and records as requested.For immediate consideration please apply directly to job posting or call 610-###-####RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.Proven experience in a clerical or administrative accounting role.Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Excel).Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
