Salary/Hourly Rate: $24/hr+ Depending on experience
Position Overview: Our client is looking for an Accounting Clerk who will support the Accounting department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and performing various accounting tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that financial transactions are recorded correctly, and that financial documentation is processed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk: - Review, verify, and process incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, including entering payments, issuing receipts, and following up on overdue invoices.
- Assist in the monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk: - Proven experience in an accounting role or relevant administrative position.
- Analytical and very detail-oriented.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
Education Requirements: - High school diploma is required.
