Position: Accounting CoordinatorLocation: Stanhope, NJShift: Monday-Friday; 8am-4pmJob Description:Required to apply accounting principles for ensuring that all financial transactions and accounting records are accurate, transparent, and are as per company's regulations. Responsible for taking complete care of accounts and releasing timely payments.Essential Duties:Responsibilities and Essential Duties including but not limited to the following as well as any other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.Sets up vendors and utilities.Supports and executes budget and financial activities.Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of accounts, along with details coinciding with processed payments.Ensures all financial reports and records are developed within stipulated deadlines.Bookkeeping and maintaining all other important financial records and reports along with their proper allocations.Keeping track of due date schedule for payments and making payments through appropriate payment methods.Ensures all financial records and transactions areas per company's regulation and laws.Receives, opens, and logs all invoices for several clients and allocates them to their appropriate classifications.Responsible for maintaining vendors and rectifying any discrepancies that may arise; while coordinating with a client pertaining to accounts payable issues and sorting out the small issues.Periodically review all accounts.Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll.Review client credit card receipts, reconcile credit cards, house accounts and export monthly credit card charges in QuickBooks.Collects and reconciles all laundry and ShopRite receipts.Performs clerical duties as needed such as: filing, photo copying, collating, and answering phones.Accurately completes mandatory documentation.Attends work consistently and is punctual.Attends all mandatory meetings and training.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while looking for ways to improve and promote quality, and will apply all feedback to improve one's own performance.Assists manager with financial audits and daily functions as needed.Qualifications:*The employee must successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training and essential duties to include the following; but not limited to:-Initial Preventing Abuse and Neglect with on-site competency assessment and annually thereafter.*The employee shall be 18 years of age or older and possess a driver's license valid in the State of New Jersey (probational licenses are not accepted).*The employee must submit to a criminal background check, and be determined to be not disqualified by the Department of Human Services prior to working with individuals served.*The employee must agree to have their name checked against the Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.*The employees hired after 6/15/2018 shall submit to drug testing prior to employment.*All employees hired shall complete an application to have their name checked against the Child Abuse Registry Information (CARI);*All employees must demonstrate successful completion of a Pre-employment physical; Pre-employment tuberculosis test as required by The State of New Jersey Department of Human Services.*Clearance based on a 3-year and annual motor vehicle abstract assessment.**Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
