This position will assist and report directly to the Senior Plant Accountant and will have the following responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Compile payroll data such as hours worked from time records and verify accuracy of payroll

* Run payroll reports

* Assists with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties

* Process Credit/Debit Memos

* Assists with month end closing entries

* Provides clerical support and maintains employee files and records

* Assists associates with a variety of questions: health benefits information, direct deposit information

* Receives and processes inbound telephone calls

* Greets and processes all visitors.

* Assists with other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

* Have excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with ability to learn new software systems

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally

* Detail oriented individual with excellent organizational, analytical, and statistical skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school graduate or equivalent; college degree desirable

* Two to three years of experience in finance or accounting.
