Position Summary:Responsible for auditing, compiling, and maintaining records of accounting/financial/customer nature. This position will assist with multiple areas within Accounting/Customer Service. We are upgrading our Sales Order to Cash system and will need someone to assist with regular dutiesduring our implementation and training periods. This role will continue within our department as Old Wisconsin continues to grow.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Assist with data entry/audit of customer sales orders.Update prices and customer allowances in AS400.Code and process customer deduction paperwork.Process and enter customer credit memos in AS400.Process daily sales invoice register.Assist with Accounts Payable duties / Serve as back up.Assist with Accounts Receivable cash applications / Serve as back up.Daily posting of Accounting/Sales registers into Accounting System.Communicate with customers to accept sales orders when needed.In the event that the person in this position is absent, he/she will be replaced by a person properly trained to perform such duties.Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, Etc:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required education generally equivalent to an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree or combination of experience and education also acceptable.Requires 2-5 years of accounting clerical duties, or related experience.Requires a basic understanding of GMP's and SQF guidelines.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Proven competency in the following areas:Requires a knowledge of all office equipment and business software systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, AS400, and Microsoft D365 software.Physical Demands:Regularly involves sitting or standing, occasional walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds and visual adjustments.Work Environment:Includes office and manufacturing environments, requiring personal protective equipment in certain areas and exposure to loud noise.Note:OWS will not sponsor visas for this position.
