Job Description:

Lending and Trade Services -- Servicing Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist role reviews Commercial Loan Exception reports to mitigate risks including possible negative reputational, income impact and financial losses. The incumbent must perform detailed system analytics (AFS, DEALS, etc) and loan documentation review, research and analysis to resolve exceptions timely and accurately.

Position Responsibilities:

* Analyzes and researches items appearing on various system generated exception reports for quality assurance.

* Analyzes, interprets, and compares Commercial loan documentation to the Loan accounting system for accuracy.

* Inputs transactional information into the Loan Accounting System to clear exceptions or ticklers.

* Provides monthly reporting and escalates critical issues or trends to management.

* Distributes exception reports to various internal departments to ensure timely review.

* Analyzes and creates accrual spreadsheets for loans requiring rate comparisons.

* Acts as liaison to Loan Groups and various levels of management related to loan accounting issues.

* Prepares and sends wire reports out daily to processors.

* Completes various self-tests related to processing.

* Acts as SME related to system processing.

* Participates on projects as required.

* Provides comprehensive deliverables as required.

* Various other duties as required.

Position Qualifications:

* Associate degree or 2 years of relevant experience in Business, Accounting or Finance

* 3-5 years of extensive AFS processing experience

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
