We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting/Finance Intern to join our Accounting/Finance teams. This role is designed for students looking to gain hands-on experience in Accounting/Finance practices, with a focus on improving process efficiency and ensuring quality standards. As an intern, you will work closely with our Accounting/Finance teams to support ongoing projects, analyze processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. As an intern onsite at SFCB you will work in our office located in Harrison, Ohio. To be successful in this internship you will need to be open to a variety of activities that support the Accounting/Finance teams and embrace new challenges that will come as you gain experience. Example tasks based on intern experience level are below.Accounting/Finance Intern
- Assists with collection of past due invoices and unauthorized deductions which include communication by phone calls, letters, and e-mail
- Apply cash received via wire transfer, lockbox deposit, or checks received on-site
- Research and reconcile past due invoices
- Assist with completion of internal audit requests
- Journal entries - month end close for both balance sheet and income statement
- Account Reconciliations

- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with engineering software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
