This Accounting & Collections Manager role plays a pivotal part on the Leadership team of the organization and will reporting directly into the Director of Finance. The Accounting & Collections Manager will provide financial support across various areas of the operation and help manage, analyze and maintain concise accounting records and manage the organization's banking activity and cashflow. Our Client is seeking a proven leader with experience mentoring and training staff.Responsibilities:+ Handle and oversee billing, collection, processing, record keeping of fees and payments owed+ Manage the receipt, recording, custody, and disbursement of the organization's funds including accounts payable and payroll+ Work closely with the banks to manage, monitor and analyze borrowing, investing and management of the organization's funds+ Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reportsThis great opportunity comes with excellent benefits including a generous time off policy, great work/life balance and job stability. At Robert Half we never distribute your resume without your permission.Requirements- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role including hands on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Bank Reconciliations- 1+ Years of Supervisory Experience- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Financial software- Proficient in Capital Management- Ability to manage, organize and update relevant data using database applications- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field is required; advanced degrees and/or related certifications are a plus- Experience working within a Municipality or Non-Profit organization is preferred, but not required- Strong written and verbal communication skillsRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
