Due to consistent growth, we are eager to add a Manager or Director of Accounting with a track toward Partnership.As a Partner here, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's growth and success. You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax and advisory services to a diverse clientele of high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely-held businesses. Your expertise in estate planning, buyouts, and business transitions will be invaluable in helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes.Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their unique financial needs and goals.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Provide comprehensive tax planning and compliance services, including individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Estate Planning: Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including the creation of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Provide tax and advisory services related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
- Business Valuations: Conduct business valuations for a variety of purposes, including estate planning, gift tax, and divorce proceedings.
- Business Succession Planning: Assist business owners in developing and implementing effective succession plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Note- a standing book of business is not required as we have a strong client base and do not need focused business development.
Qualifications
- CPA certification required.
- Advanced degree in taxation or law (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting.
- Proven track record of success in providing high-quality tax and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- A passion for providing exceptional client service.
- Note- this position would transition into a Partner seat, with an individualized and custom buy-in plan that works for you and the current partners
