Accounting Manager - Up to $120k + bonus
The ideal candidate will have experience servicing multiple clients at the same time (public accounting experience strongly preferred). Responsibilities include month end close, financial statement prep and analysis, journal entries and reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and budgeting, oversight of staff, and being a point of contact for clients. ***4 days onsite, 1 from home
Description:
- Assess the financial records of new clients to develop plans for updating and correcting financial statements.
- Create financial reconciliations between financial statements and third-party platforms such as POS and CRM systems.
- Conduct financial statement reviews and analyses, including budget vs. actual comparisons, prior year comparisons, and trend analysis.
- Present clients with feedback and provide proactive financial recommendations.
- Perform cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
- Train and coach less experienced team members.
- Review the work of junior staff members, providing guidance before delivering finished products to senior management.
- Collaborate with the internal tax team to ensure compliance with tax-related issues, including sales tax and other obligations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Experience servicing multiple clients at the same time
- Public Accounting strongly preferred
