Role Description
Manage financial reporting and accounting operations for parking management company. Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and processes for multiple locations.
Principal Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management.
* Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
* Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for multiple parking facilities.
* Maintain financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support company goals.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings and audits.
* Manage accounting staff and provide guidance, mentorship, and performance reviews.
* Collaborate with operations to reconcile revenue and expenses for each location, including tracking parking fees, permit sales, and revenue sharing agreements.
* Review and approve financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports.
* Support the Controller in developing financial strategies and reports for executive leadership.
* Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in accounting
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* Experience using accounting software.
