About This Role
RGP is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Chicago on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash flow management, consolidated financial statements, and financial reporting, and will be familiar with and willing to work in a consulting capacity.
What You Will Work On
* Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the Statement of Cash Flows to ensure accurate reflection of the company's cash position.
* Monitor cash flow trends and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
* Develop and implement a new Statement of Cash Flow format that aligns with the updated Chart of Accounts.
* Ensure the new design meets regulatory requirements and enhances financial reporting accuracy.
* Create comprehensive Consolidated Statements of Cash Flows for multiple entities within the organization.
* Ensure all intercompany transactions are accurately reflected and eliminated in the consolidation process.
* Manage the consolidation of financial statements for all subsidiaries and affiliates.
* Prepare and review external financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
* Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting
What You Will Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Proven experience in cash flow management.
* Expertise in creating and managing consolidated financial statements.
* Strong knowledge of financial statements and reporting.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with external reporting and consolidations.
