10th December, 2024Objectives/Responsibilities
- Oversee ledger accuracy, reconcile subsidiary ledgers, and ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and private equity/loan covenants.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes, and prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Guide financial decisions through analysis, and ensure accurate budgeting, financial controls, and operational reporting across multiple locations.
- Lead implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide systems (Netsuite), including financial reporting, inventory, and CRM capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with state and local reporting requirements, internal controls, and policies for a growing, multi-state sales force.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field; 5+ years of finance/accounting experience; professional certifications (CMA, CGA, CPA) a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, finance law, economic/banking processes, and federal, state, and local tax compliance.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, writing) with the ability to engage diverse audiences and create content for digital platforms.
- Proficient in financial data analysis, project management, and using NetSuite Enterprise software, with exceptional organization and attention to detail.
