We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our firm in the Client Accounting and Advisory Service department. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing financials, managing the budgeting of staff time, supervising a team of accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing valuable insights through interpretation, analysis, and proper presentation of financial data. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the success of our clients' financial management and support our firm's reputation for excellence. Requires successful demonstration via assessment of standard skills and competencies required for role.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Oversee and Review Financials:

* Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for our clients.

* Review client financial statements to identify any discrepancies, errors, or areas of improvement.

* Provide guidance and recommendations to clients for enhancing their financial performance.

* Manage the Budgeting Process:

* Develop and implement effective budgeting processes and procedures for our clients.

* Collaborate with clients to establish budget targets and track performance against targets.

* Monitor client expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend appropriate actions.

* Supervise a Team of Accountants:

* Lead and manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and feedback.

* Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure timely completion of client deliverables.

* Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within our firm.

* Ensure Compliance with Accounting Standards and Regulations:

* Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

* Provide guidance to clients on compliance requirements specific to their industries.

* Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance and minimize financial risks for our clients.

* Bring Highly Experienced Skills:

* Utilize your extensive experience in interpreting financial data to provide valuable insights and analysis to our clients.

* Present financial information in a clear, concise, and impactful manner to clients and firm partners.

* Identify opportunities for process improvement and value creation within our firm and for our clients.

What You Need to Succeed

* To excel in this role, you should possess:

* Must have previous Public Accounting experience.

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or other applicable certification is preferred.

* Proven experience as an Accounting Manager in a CPA firm or similar professional services environment.

* Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting standards.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Proficient in financial analysis and reporting tools.

* Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.

* Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
