Overview of the role:
- Managing daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing processes
- Supervising accounting staff and supporting their professional growth
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborating with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with internal policies
- Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits
- Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability
Preferred qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership, organizational and prioritization skills
