NSS National Services and Supplies, LLC is seeking an Accounting Officer (PERM). The Accounting Officer duties include, but would not be limited to: Inspect account books for efficiency and adherence to accounting standards; Manage all bank reconciliation and cash reporting, including the company's various cash and operating accounts; Complete balance sheet and P&L review and analysis; Analyze company income statements and expenditures to reduce deficient controls and duplicated efforts and detect non- compliance with laws regulations and management; Inspect cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, and canceled checks to confirm records are accurate; Perform monthly reconciliations of sub-ledgers to the general ledger including variance analysis and corrections, to facilitate the month/quarter/year close process; Audit payroll and personnel records to determine unemployment insurance premiums, workers' compensation coverage, liabilities, and compliance with tax laws; and Participate in computing taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirement. Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in accounting, finance, or a closely related field. Day shift- 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday -Friday
