Job Summary:

Spears School of Business is seeking an Accounting Specialist for our Research and Financial Services office. A core set of duties will include supporting the Accountant III as well as assisting with other financial activities such as entering data in Quickbooks, receipting and paying invoices in OKCorral, formatting and uploading reports.

In addition, the position will be responsible for reviewing all travel forms for completeness and accuracy prior to forwarding for approval. It will advise department assistants on travel policy and procedures.

This position may also assist Spears centers and academic departments with new hire onboarding, travel vouchers and requests, and purchase orders when their department assistants are unavailable for extended periods of time.

Position Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

High school/GED and two years of office/clerical experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business and experience with:

General office procedures.

Account reconciliation.

Microsoft Suite

Quickbooks

OKCorral

Excel

OSU Banner systems including finance, HR, and student systems.

OSU forms such as travel, foundation, and payroll.

Knowledge of OSU policy and procedures.
