Job Title: Accounting Specialist opportunity in Fort Washington, PA!Job DescriptionThis Accounting Specialist will support the Servicing & Loan Research side of the business with accounts receivable cleanup from the recent acquisition of a new entity.ResponsibilitiesReview aged Accounts Receivable in WorkdayReview and analyze pre-existing invoicesClean up and adjust incurring accounts receivable amounts for customersReconcile Accounts Receivable discrepanciesRun pre-existing SQL queriesWork within advanced data sets, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas in Microsoft ExcelEssential SkillsExperience in accounting, general ledger, journal entry, revenue, and accounts receivable collectionsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas, and macrosExperience with accounts receivable, reconciliation, and billing/order to cash functionsExperience with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, JDE, NetSuite, Peoplesoft, Microsoft Dynamics or similarAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance6+ months of experience with an ERP system2+ years of experience within organizations with at least $100M in revenue2+ years of experience with reconciliationsMortgage industry experienceExperience with loan researchWork EnvironmentThis role will report within the Loan Research/Servicing side of accounting and will work on a team of 10+. The position requires being onsite 4 days per week at the office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. The team values flexibility with remote work options on Fridays.
