We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our corporate accounting team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing accounts receivable, overseeing cash flow, and inventory reconciliation. Responsibilities
- Accurately record receipts of income
- Monitor daily cash transactions
- Preparing necessary journal entries, completing bank reconciliations to prepare the financial statements
- Process outgoing payments efficiently
- Reconcile and maintain accurate materials inventory records
- Coordinate and work closely with other accounting departments and external auditors as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other construction accounting software such as Viewpoint
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
