What You'll Do:
- Banking: Manage daily banking activities including reconciling transactions, processing ACH files, handling client billings, credit card transactions, and monthly client refunds.
- Accounts Receivable: Oversee payment receipt, record sales, deposit funds, and follow up on overdue payments.
- General Ledger: Ensure timely payments and accurately record client transactions in QuickBooks.
- Record Keeping: Keep precise, up-to-date records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing essential documentation and explanations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to improve processes, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Backup Support: Train as a backup for other Staff Accountants and step in as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Ethical Practices: Maintain ethical accounting practices and confidentiality of financial information.
- Auditor Assistance: Help prepare necessary information for external accounting firms and auditors.
