Job Description:

Overview

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to help us with the daily management of the accounting departments operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Accounting Specialists and play a key role in our daily accounting operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, as well as our cross functional departments.

Responsibilities

* Review of customer, vendor invoices entered by Accounting Specialists to ensure appropriate supporting documentation Quotes, Contracts, Shipping Records, PO/Receiving, Adobe Approval and to minimize transaction-level errors.

* Approve A/R, A/P related transactions including debit/credit memos, customer payments, vendor payments, vendor invoice adjustments. Maintain compliance with Company policies and procedures, including Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls requirements.

* Maintain database of customer-level contractual pricing.

* Review customer invoices generated using multiple different processes, custom billing system, ERP, Excel.

* Review vendor invoices entered in the ERP sub-ledger.

* Position primarily operates from established procedures and work instructions. May operate or own transaction-level internal controls. Limited decision-making expected.

* Manage a functional area of the accounting team leading 2-4 employees.

Qualifications

Requirements:

* Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant related work experience.

* Prior experience managing accounting teams.

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated history of leveraging core financial systems (ERP, HFM, BI, Excel, etc.) to process transactional details.

* Ability to lead a team focused on transaction processing emphasizing strong attention to detail.

* Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary.

Physical Demands:

* This is a Hybrid position; ability to work from home.

* Hours are minimum 40 hours per week during company's regular business hours however evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand;

* Work is in a typical office environment; prolonged sitting required (1-2 hours at a time); ability to move around the office to attend meetings; deliver items; gather supplies; set up meetings; etc. lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.

* Work environment: Usual office setting; close contact with employees for long periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.

* Position may require minimal travel by car and/or plane.
