Accounts Payable AssistantThe OpportunityLesley University seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant. The Accounts Payable Assistant performs a variety of general accounting tasks related to the processing and maintenance of accounts payable records, invoices, student refunds, reimbursements, vendor statements, 1099's and financial reports.Qualities and CapabilitiesThe successful candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent required.Some college or business education or equivalent preferred.Working knowledge of Ellucian Colleague a plus.3-4 years Accounting or Accounts Payable experience required.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.Strong and diplomatic written/verbal communication skills required.Must be detail oriented and comfortable working with numbers.Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Why LesleyLocated in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lesley University is highly regarded for its graduate and undergraduate programs in the human arts of education, the arts, and applied social sciences.
